This policy describes how ProTradingLabs collects, uses, and protects your personal data, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the recommendations of the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
Data controller
ProTradingLabs is operated by Baa Solution (SPRL/SRL), BE 0718.690.222 — contact: contact@protradinglabs.com. For any question regarding your personal data, you can reach us at this address.
Data we collect
We collect data strictly necessary for the service: email, name, preferences (language, theme, timezone), trading account information (broker, balance, positions), payment information via Stripe, and structured technical diagnostics from MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisors. When an error occurs, these diagnostics may include the trading conditions needed to identify its cause (symbol, volume, prices, stop loss/take profit, margin, capital, terminal permissions, and broker rejection code). They do not include passwords, secret keys, full licence values, authorization headers, or strategy source code.
Purposes and legal bases
Authentication and account management (contract performance), billing (contract / legal obligation), website error monitoring via Axiom and automatic diagnosis of MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor errors via Convex (legitimate interest — service reliability and security, GDPR Art. 6.1.f), and product analytics via PostHog (consent, GDPR Art. 6.1.a). At ProTradingLabs' discretion, diagnostics may be analyzed using OpenAI or Anthropic artificial-intelligence tools to identify an incident's cause and improve the product.
Sub-processors
Clerk (authentication, USA with Standard Contractual Clauses), Convex (database and MT5 diagnostics, USA with SCC), Stripe (payments, USA with SCC), Cloudflare (hosting and anti-bot, global with SCC), Axiom (website monitoring, USA with SCC), PostHog (product analytics, European Union — Frankfurt), OpenAI and Anthropic (occasional AI analysis of technical diagnostics, USA with SCC or another applicable transfer mechanism).
Retention
Account data: kept while your account is active, then deleted within 30 days after deletion. Website error logs (Axiom) and detailed MT5 diagnostic events (Convex): 90 days. Anonymous error-signature statistics may be retained for 12 months. Analytics (PostHog): 12 months. Billing data: 10 years (legal obligation). Diagnostics linked to your account are deleted when the account is deleted.
Your rights
You have rights of access, rectification, deletion, portability, restriction and objection (GDPR Art. 15-22). To exercise them: contact@protradinglabs.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (www.autoriteprotectiondonnees.be).
Transfers outside the EU
Some sub-processors are located outside the EU. Transfers are governed by the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission.
